Powerchip Signs NAND Flash Agreement with Renesas

According to Taiwanese Powerchip, the company has signed an agreement with Renesas whereby it will obtain technology needed to produce 1G NAND flash memory products from the Japanese company and the right to sell these under its own brand name. Currently, Powerchip already manufactures NAND flash memory products for Renesas.
